Then come the capacitors. These work with very low dielectric losses—only around 0.2 W/kvar. As a result, the full system only loses about 0.5 W/kvar. This keeps energy waste low and reduces how much you spend on running the system. On top of that, the capacitors can heal themselves. If a small problem shows up, the capacitor quickly isolates the damaged area. This prevents more harm and keeps the system stable for a long time.

Moreover, the system works best in networks that use automatic central compensation. It fits well when non-linear loads stay below 15% of the full load. Also, THD-U needs to stay under 3%. These systems won’t work in places with heavy harmonic distortion.
