The MBC-24.x Modbus converter is an intelligent and versatile device meant to connect various Modbus networks. It can support bidirectional Modbus RTU/ASCII to Modbus TCP protocol translation. The converter operates over RS-485 and Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections. It is suitable for integration into current industrial systems. The converter enables systems to communicate with one another regardless of the network on which they operate.

The converter can be configured in two modes. It will act as a Master in a Wi-Fi or Ethernet network and a Slave in an RS-485 network. Or, it will act as a Master in an RS-485 network and as a Slave in a Wi-Fi or Ethernet network. This allows easy connection of up to 32 slave devices on the RS-485 side or up to 31 slave devices on the Ethernet side. The unit is constructed with galvanic isolation to shield the signals. The unit comes in several speeds, so you are able to set the optimal setting for your system.

The converter is a small and durable device that can be installed in severe industrial conditions. It is contained in a small DIN rail mountable package that does not take up much space. The MBC-24.x converter operates on a wide voltage input of 10 to 48 VDC. It is designed to operate in variable temperature and condition environments.
