Our Low Temperature Self-Regulating Cable Upto 85° C is used for power-saving and energy-efficient heat tracing in applications where the temperature does not exceed 85° C. The cable regulates its heat output automatically as per ambient conditions. The cable is made using a smart core with a special conductive polymer filled with carbon particles. When the cable is heated, the polymer swells and the polymer resistance increases. Therefore, the heat generated goes down to match the ambient temperature. The self-regulation property prevents overheating and power consumption. The cable is ideally suitable for freeze protection and process low-temperature maintenance.

It is built to withstand rigorous safety and performance testing. The rugged construction of the cable allows it to be handled easily in any application. The cable can be overlapped and insulated without risk of burnout. Field installation is easy due to the ease of cutting the cable to any desired length and terminating it in the field. The construction has a stable temperature along the length of the cable. Moreover, the cable employs strong materials such as 16 AWG nickel-coated copper wire and a heavy-duty outer jacket. This renders the cable fire, chemical, and water resistant.

Its operation is proven under normal and hostile environments when used with suitable accessories. Intended for commercial and industrial use, our cable operates best at low temperatures. Its self-regulation renders it unnecessary to have a separate temperature controller unless needed by the application.
